Vetulani Zygmunt

Zygmunt Vetulani (1950) is a full professor in technical computer science. He received his MSc in Mathe- matics and his MA in Romance Studies from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan ́, and his PhD in the Foundation of Mathematics from the University of Warsaw. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation fellowship at the University of Bielefeld (1987-1989). Initiator and organizer of Language and Technology Conferences since 1995. Author of over 110 research papers, 6 books, and ISLRN indexed language resources. Management of various national and international research projects. His present research interests are in computer linguistics, natural language resources, AI applications in the field of homeland security, appli- cations of computer science methods in humanities.
