Owedyk Jan

JAN OWEDYK: PhD, Assistant Professor at Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz and The Division of Applied Computer Science, Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź. Jan Owedyk graduated in physics (M.A.) in 1972, and then he continued his studies as a post-graduate student at The Doctor School of Physics at Nicholas Copernicus University in the years 1973-1977. In 1979 he obtained his PhD in physics. His papers concern aspects of the information thermodynamics method, information-theoretical variational method to the multidimensional Fokker-Planck equation and to the Boltzmann equation, stability of stationary distribution of the master equation with respect to information gain solutons, mathematical modelling of diffusion in porous materials, and information technology.
