Krzysztof Maślanka works at the Institute for the History of Science, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. He studied astronomy at the Jagiellonian University. His MSc thesis was devoted to solar radioastronomy (1979). The subject of his PhD thesis was quantum effects in multidimensional cosmologies (1988). His current interests include numerical experiments in the analytic number theory, the theory of the Riemann zeta function and history of mathematics, general relativity and quantum mechanics.
