Łukasiak Piotr

PIOTR ŁUKASIAK is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Computing Science, Poznan University of Technology and at the Institute of Biochemistry, Polish Academy of Science (PAS). He was graduated from computer science department, Poznan University of Technology in 1998. He received PhD in computer science in 2004, and MBA in Carlsson School of Management, University of Minnesota in 2006. He participates as manager in many European projects (FP6) as CompuVac, MetaFunctions, Bioptrain including international Polish-French, and Polish-Italian cooperation. He worked in many countries as a visiting researcher (Rutgers University, USA; University of Minnesota, USA; INRIA, France; Davis California State University, USA), and cooperates with many other universities (e.g. UPMC - France, Hellenic Pateur Institute – Greece, Karolinska Institute – Sweden, University of Cape Town – South Africa). He received fellowship from Max-Planck Institute, Germany. In recent years he focused on bioinformatics problems working on the developing system for genetic vaccine development, protein structural and functional analysis, algorithm design, process optimalization, and management.
