Astashkin Volodymyr

 DR. VOLODYMYR ASTASHKIN was born on November 25, 1951. He graduated in Physics of Metals at Lviv National Technical University in 1974. Since then he has been working at the Pidstryhach Institute for Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics NASU in Lviv, Ukraine. He obtained the PhD degree in Mathematics in 1983. His research interests concern the deformable solid mechanics and mathematical modeling in thermomechanics of solids, especially subjected to structure changes. He is author or co-author of over 80 papers in major professional journals and conference proceedings.
