Abstract:
In this paper an inelastic collision of two rigid bodies is considered. Friction forces between contacting surfaces of both objects are taken into considerations. The Routh method is applied to obtain the solution and to analyse the collision process. The kinematic state of both bodies after the collision is calculated, and computer simulations of collision are performed.
